Find friendship and fulfilment at the Clarke Foley Community Centre.
We have many flexible volunteering roles including running classes and groups, working in the café, helping with Lunch Club and guiding visitors. The Centre has a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere which is a tribute to our volunteers. Our visitors always appreciate a friendly smile and chat. Join us and be a part of this.
We are closed now but it looks like we'll be able to open on May 17th!
We are determined to get people back into The Clarke Foley Community Centre in a safe and socially distanced way. Many people want to make contact with others so we are looking for creative individuals to help us out by running regular or one off activities. This role may involve:
* Sharing your expertise
* Leading a dance class
* Setting up a hobby group
* Providing a talk/lecture on a topic of your choice
* Helping to run a class (Bingo, quiz etc)
* Providing professional expertise at a support group
* …. Or any other idea you might have for a class that would enrich and help other people at Clarke Foley. We are open to all and any ideas.
We are looking for volunteers to help to prepare hot drinks in our café and to prepare trays for drinks orders.
Note that this role will not deliver the drinks orders to the customers. This volunteer role is behind the café counter.
You will be supplied with your own visor and apron.
The café is open from 10.00am – 3.00pm. Ideally, we would like volunteers to cover a two-hour shift but we are grateful for any support you can offer, either on a regular or one-off basis.
Call in for a chat when we open or contact us on 01943 607016 /07495 045310 or [email protected]
